The name of our Duo is called 'XO'. Whilst we were researching music videos and looking out for the conventions of music videos one thing we found out is they promote themselves either their band name or there logo within the video, this is what we done in our music video as you will see below.
EXAMPLES
These are two examples that i noticed. On the left is from Dissclosure's F for you video, i just manages to capture a moment where there logo or the thing that identifies them i.e. The white outline of facial features, This trademark is in almost every video or single cover and its even on their album. The image on the Left is taken from the music video Showstopper by Danity Kane, its a bit unclear but the left hand it says Danity and on the right it say Kane which is the band's name. Unlike Discossure they dont use these rings in everything or every album cover but i thought that it would be a good example to show how they promote the name of their band within the video.
