Initial Ideas

Idea 1

-The two performers to be a duo

 

 

Instead of having two separate artist like the original song we decided to make our two performers a duo, we did this because when we were researching into duo bands we found that the chemistry between them looks really special and enjoyable for both the group and us as the audience. A perfect example of this is the Rizzle Kicks. They have two completely different styles & attitude's yet they are like two peas in a pod. Here is a video that kind of explains what i mean.

 

 

Idea 2 

- To have a male actor in the video to visually interpret the lyrics of the song

Because the song is about the artist hating somebody (Maybe a boy or girl) we were thinking of having that character inside the actual music video. We could have the artist and the boy arguing, or a clip where the boy who the artist hates shows the audience why the artist hates him i.e. a clip where they are shopping and he shoves the bags in to her hands.

Idea 3

If there is any spare time in the music video we could have some free style dancers from the Trocadero underground space to allow us to film them and add some of thoes clips into the final video.

Going location scouting led me to the underground part of trocadero. This area has been transformed into a space where dancers can come and rehears and practice there moves. We felt that this could be a good idea as it would gives the video more variety. Instead of just having the two artist's singing towards the camera it would be a nice thing to add in clips that have no relation to the lyrics as well. This video is kind of like a visual description of what the Trocadero underground is and what it represents.
