Review of favourite previous student video..

I think that this video is really simple but really good at the same time. 

There are good uses of Mise - en - scene, for example,

- different costumes 

 - different locations 












- Body language - This is good as it shows clearly there 'lovey dovey' relationship which is what there  trying to portray to the audience so is done successfully.


There is also good use of Camera work as some shots are seen as constantly moving which is what your suppose to do in a music video.

There are various number of shots in the video, for example,

- Close ups, which are vital in music videos were used a lot so this makes it good overall.

- Medium close ups, long shots, wide shots, over the shoulder shots and shot reverse shots.

Also when the boy is chasing the girl around the tree, we are made to believe it's from his perspective so that the audience are directly involved in there relationship , this is good as the audience have good interaction with the couple, which is important in this type of music video.

 Editing - special effect of black and white throughout the whole video goes with the theme of the "love" song. This emphasizes the lyrics and content within the song and is good visualising for the audience.

So Overall, the video was really good, as it contained a lot of special elements, base tracks and a continuity which kept the video flowing. I will keep this video in mind when I'm filming mine as it will help make mine just as successful to get the best mark possible.
